Webinar of the EECA Judges’ Forum

On September 30 at 11 am (GMT+3), 2024, a webinar of the Forum for Judges of Eastern Europe and Central Asia on HIV, Human Rights, and Legislation will take place on the Zoom platform. The goal of the webinar is to inform participants about the latest medical and scientific data regarding HIV, as well as the legal issues faced by people living with HIV and populations at higher risk (key populations).

Participation in the webinar is highly recommended for current judges, lawyers, human rights advocates, and anyone concerned with human rights, combating stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV, and addressing the needs of key populations.

Expected outcomes:
• Increased Awareness: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the current challenges and successes in the fight against HIV in the region, including a critical analysis of legal barriers and repressive laws, as well as positive changes resulting from progressive judicial decisions and reforms.
